HEALTH & WELLBEING
The
focus of this programme is on prevention by building
strong social networks and offering opportunities
for better access to services such as counselling,
complementary therapies and stress management . One
to one support, group support and courses are available.
There will be an extensive programme of activities
to encourage positive mental health attitudes.
The
Healthy Living Initiative supports:

friendship.

Mental Health Services on Bute
Campaign
to improve service provision on Bute and transport
to Argyll & Bute Hospital of mentally ill patients
and other campaigns to remove stigmas.
Yoga for Women
Create
an Oasis of Calm in your
daily life. Thursdays 2.00pm -3.00 pm - Moat Centre
Health
~Topics, Exercise and Relaxation are all part of this
programme. If you are a couch potato, but would
like to improve on your lifestyle, then ask your GP
or health professional for a referral to this group
